Five Work From Home Jobs

1. Teach English Online

You can start teaching English online in just a few days making between $15-22/hour! An English learning website I can vouch for is VIPKid. Getting started is really simple! You fill out the application, submit a demo of your teaching skills (they show you exactly what to say and do), you get approved, and you start teaching! Your students are adorable kids from all over the world and best of all you don’t have to learn a new language! Get started here.

2. Become a Virtual Assistant

The rise of the virtual assistant is unreal! There are hundreds of thousands of small businesses in need of assistance with everyday tasks like email management, file organization, scheduling and more! On average virtual assistants make about $16/hour according to Indeed; however, this can increase tremendously depending on the number of clients you have and the type of services you provide.

How do you get started? You can start with your network and reach out to several small businesses in your area. Ask them if they need help organizing their business, send them a quick one-sheeter of what you can do for them, how many hours you can work, and your rates! This video also shares multiple companies you can work for that will assign you virtual assistance jobs today!

  3. Knowledge of social media ads

  4. Strong written communication skills

  5. Ability to analyze and report data

  6. Graphic design skills

  7. Photo editing skills (and access to software and/or photo editing apps)

Being a social media manager will require a certain level of hustle if you want to build your own clientele; however, I highly suggest UpWork as a place to find social media jobs and more!
