Hi Fabs!
If you know me then you know I looooove watching YouTube beauty and fashion videos! I can literally watch my favorite beauty gurus for hours on end. With that said, I definitely appreciate a good “beat” face but for some reason I can never bring myself to actually cake on all that makeup. When it comes to makeup, I believe less is more and 90% of the time you’ll catch me with a bare face and a big smile!
However, when it’s time to head out with my girls or even when I just want to put on a little makeup for work, I always pick up the same products. I get a ton of compliments and have even had a few people ask me to do their makeup! Check out my go-to makeup products that you can wear for any occasion:
Foundation

My shade is 212 Cocoa!
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow
If you usually don’t wear foundation but have always wanted to try it, this product is a great start! It goes on very light and gives a nice glow without having to use too much product (I only use a dime size for my entire face). If you have dry skin this foundation will work great for you; however, they also have L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte for those with oilier skin as well.

My shade is 95 Coconut!
Maybelline New York Dream Velvet
I was recently given this foundation from a friend and usually I’m hesitant to try new foundation but this product was a pleasant surprise! It goes on smooth like lotion, the color match is great, and it gives me the right dewy effect without looking greasy. My only down fall with this foundation is it’s so “velvety” that it wipes off easily and after a while I get tired of seeing my makeup on my hands and on everything I touch. Does anyone have a trick to prevent this?!
Eyeshadow
Carli Bybel Palette
If you do not have this palette, go out and get it RIGHT NOW! It has shades that work for any skin tone, any occasion and most importantly its super affordable. I have used this palette on multiple people and it always looks great. It even has some really great highlighters on the bottom row! The bad news about this palette is that its limited edition and is going away really soon. The good news is it’s so popular that Carli created a deluxe version that has the most popular shades from the first palette plus more! To get her deluxe palette you can pre-order it on bhcosmetics.com starting April 3rd or wait until it hits Ulta stores in a few months.
Morphe 350S – 35 Palette
This palette has all the gold and neutral shades you’ll ever want and for a great price! It can be a little overwhelming at first, but once you find your favorite colors you wont be able to put it down. The only downside is it’s pretty big and hard to pack on trips or on the go.
My Finishing Touches
Mascara
Honestly, any mascara works in my opinion but I personally use Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Express!
Eyeliner
I’m old school ya’ll! I stick to regular eyeliner and have been using Loreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner for years.
Lipstick
I just started getting into wearing lipstick not too long ago so let me know if you have any more lipstick suggestions! As of now the two lipstick brands I use the most are Maybelline Color Sensational and ColourPop.
I use Maybelline’s Color Sensational line when I want a buttery every day look that’s easy to apply. However, you will need to reapply this through out the day. My go to colors are Raging Raisin – 375 from the “The Loaded Bold” collection (I’m wearing this color on my About Me page!) and Untainted Spice – 950 from the “The Buffs” collection.
I use ColourPop when I want a bold matte look that will last all day and all night! I love how it stays on no matter what but the matte finish can be very drying so be aware. My go to colors are Avenue and Smitten!
My Secret Weapons
Beauty Blender
Adding a little water to a beauty blender to blend in your foundation creates a really natural look!
Q-Tips
Yes, I use Q-Tips to put on eyeshadow! And while people make fun of me all the time, my eye looks come out looking great.
Coco Butter
This is a must for me before and after I take off my makeup. I try to put it on at least a half an hour before I do my makeup so my face isn’t super greasy and I always put it on after I take my makeup off to leave my skin soft and smooth the next day!
Here’s my favorite selfie pose (lol) wearing my usual makeup look! Let me know if you’ve used any of the products I listed above or tell me some of your go to products!
